Responsibilities
- Safely operate a Class A commercial vehicle on designated local and regional routes.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring freight is secured and protected.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork.
- Provide exceptional customer service during deliveries and pickups, handling questions professionally.
- Adhere strictly to all DOT regulations, company policies, and traffic laws.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (MEC) as required by DOT.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong mechanical aptitude for basic vehicle troubleshooting and maintenance.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
