Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers on assigned routes throughout New York metro area
- Load/unload cargo efficiently using provided equipment and tools
- Perform daily vehicle inspections and maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide excellent customer service during delivery interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of NYC metropolitan area
- Pass pre-employment drug and background screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Basic mechanical troubleshooting skills preferred
