Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A commercial vehicles on established routes
- Perform daily pre-trip inspections and report maintenance issues immediately
- Load/unload freight with proper equipment handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and electronic logging system compliance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Adhere to all FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in training new drivers on route navigation and safety procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds repeatedly
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of South Florida geography
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
