Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A trucks for local and regional routes
- Load/unload freight using company equipment (forklifts, pallet jacks)
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logs
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic preventative maintenance
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and electronic logging devices
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- HAZMAT certification preferred
- Knowledge of Bay Area road networks
