As a key member of our logistics team, you will be responsible for transporting goods safely and efficiently across the Midwest region.
Responsibilities
- Operate Commercial Vehicles: Safely operate Class A trucks to deliver freight to designated routes and customers on time.
- Load & Unload: Secure cargo, perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, and manage loading/unloading duties.
- Maintain Records: Accurately complete electronic logging devices (ELD), delivery receipts, and vehicle condition reports.
- Customer Service: Provide professional, courteous service to customers while adhering to company policies.
- Route Compliance: Follow all traffic laws, safety regulations, and company routes to ensure compliance.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A License: Must hold a current and valid commercial driver's license.
- Driving History: Clean driving record with no major violations in the past 3 years.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks related to loading/unloading.
- Documentation: Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
