Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within 100 miles of Sacramento
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients
- Assist in route optimization and efficiency improvements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills and familiarity with Sacramento region
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
- Customer service-focused attitude
