As a key member of our logistics network, you will be responsible for safely transporting goods across the region while maintaining our high standards of customer service and safety compliance.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes within the Omaha metro area and surrounding regions.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with Department of Transportation (DOT) and company safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo securely, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight to prevent damage.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and all necessary paperwork in compliance with federal regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and safety protocols to ensure the safety of the public and fellow employees.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license issued by the State of Nebraska.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience (hazmat and tanker endorsements are a plus).
- Current DOT medical card and a clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR).
- Ability to pass a comprehensive background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of road conditions, navigation, and safety regulations.
- Physically capable of lifting, pulling, and carrying cargo, as well as standing for extended periods.
