Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles over local/regional routes
- Load/unload cargo with proper handling techniques
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic maintenance checks
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery points
- Collaborate with dispatch team for efficient route optimization
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- 2+ years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude for roadside repairs
- Flexible availability for early morning starts
