Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A trucks on designated local and regional routes.
- Deliver freight to customers in a professional, timely manner, adhering to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Manage and maintain accurate delivery logs, bills of lading, and other required documentation.
- Interact professionally with customers to resolve any delivery issues or questions.
- Adhere strictly to all Department of Transportation (DOT) regulations and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to communicate effectively.
- Reliable personal transportation available for off-duty travel.
