Responsibilities
- Safely operate company-provided Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes
- Load/unload freight with precision and adhere to safety protocols
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Maintain accurate delivery records and customer communication logs
- Adhere strictly to FMCSA regulations and company safety standards
- Optimize route efficiency to meet delivery timelines
- Represent SwiftTransport professionally in customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record (3+ years)
- Minimum 1 year verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and pass DOT physical examination
- Familiarity with Boston metro area navigation systems
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- hazmat endorsement preferred
