Responsibilities
- Operate commercial Class A trucks safely and efficiently on assigned local and regional routes.
- Ensure the timely and accurate delivery of freight to customers in the Boston area.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Complete all required logbooks, delivery receipts, and paperwork accurately.
- Load and unload cargo using proper handling techniques and dock equipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized cab and trailer at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding status and delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (Class A) with a clean driving record (MVR).
- Must be at least 21 years of age to operate interstate commerce.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Minimum of 1 year of Class A driving experience preferred.
- Strong time management skills and ability to meet strict delivery schedules.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
