Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently in a route-based capacity.
- Load and unload freight, ensuring cargo is secure and damage-free.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to maintain safety standards.
- Obey all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate logs and delivery documentation (DVIR, bills of lading).
- Provide exceptional customer service at delivery locations.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable driving experience in a similar role.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations, hours of service, and safety protocols.
- Basic computer skills for logging and reporting.
- Strong communication skills and a professional demeanor.
