Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to transport goods on designated routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Load/unload shipments using proper material handling equipment
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage delivery schedules and provide real-time shipment updates
- Resolve delivery exceptions and maintain customer satisfaction
- Complete required paperwork and electronic logging systems
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years commercial driving experience
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate pallet jacks
- Strong navigation skills and knowledge of Louisiana routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Basic computer literacy for reporting systems
