Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods on assigned routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Complete pre-trip inspections and accurate documentation
- Load/unload cargo with proper equipment handling
- Communicate with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with all traffic laws
- Assist in route optimization and delivery efficiency
- Represent the company professionally with all stakeholders
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of commercial driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Baltimore metro area and Mid-Atlantic routes
- Strong attention to detail and time management skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility for occasional overnight trips
