Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight safely and efficiently to designated routes.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations and safety standards.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper handling, securing, and documentation of goods.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts in accordance with company policy.
- Adhere to all traffic laws, company safety policies, and time management guidelines.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any issues.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) Class A with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and criminal background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety regulations, and vehicle mechanics.
- Physically capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for extended periods.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays as needed.
