Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Georgia
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous logbooks
- Inspect and maintain assigned vehicles for optimal performance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and delivery timelines
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Document deliveries and resolve discrepancies promptly
- Participate in ongoing safety training and equipment updates
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD)
- Strong knowledge of Georgia roadways and regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally
