Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles on dedicated Houston-area routes
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT logs
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while adhering to all safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with FMCSA regulations
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Represent the company professionally in all client interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Familiarity with Houston metro roadways and delivery zones
- Strong commitment to safety and regulatory compliance
- Basic computer skills for documentation systems
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Ability to work flexible schedules including early mornings
