Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods across assigned routes in Charlotte and surrounding regions
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations, FMCSA guidelines, and company safety protocols at all times
- Perform pre-trip inspections, routine maintenance checks, and basic troubleshooting
- Manage delivery documentation, electronic logging, and route optimization
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Maintain accurate mileage and delivery records for reporting
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time route adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Charlotte area highways and delivery routes
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
