Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on dedicated routes throughout Maryland and surrounding states
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system records
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions and resolve delivery exceptions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Maryland roadways and regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
