Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes throughout Santa Ana and Orange County
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Manage timely delivery of freight while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and real-time tracking
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize delivery schedules
- Document delivery exceptions and communicate with clients professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California traffic laws and hazardous materials handling
- Proficient in using electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Ability to pass mandatory background checks and drug screenings
