Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to transport goods throughout Southern California
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and paperwork with precision
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize routes to ensure timely deliveries while minimizing fuel consumption
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Collaborate with dispatch team to resolve route challenges proactively
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with California traffic laws and route planning
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Previous experience with hazmat or tanker endorsements preferred
