Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on assigned routes with on-time delivery rates exceeding 98%
- Conduct thorough pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate electronic logs
- Load/unload freight using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and problem-solving
- Adapt to changing schedules and weather conditions while maintaining route efficiency
- Comply with all DOT regulations and company safety standards
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of tractor-trailer experience with hazmat endorsement preferred
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of Ohio roadways and regional geography
- Exceptional time management and route optimization skills
- Pass criminal background check and drug screening
