Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on established routes throughout North Carolina
- Maintain accurate delivery documentation and electronic logging system compliance
- Perform pre-trip inspections and basic preventive maintenance checks
- Collaborate with dispatch to optimize delivery routes and resolve shipment discrepancies
- Represent the company professionally with exceptional customer service at all client sites
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Assist in loading/unloading shipments when required
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Flexibility to work early mornings and occasional overtime
