Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Milwaukee metropolitan area
- Perform pre-trip inspections and ensure compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Manage delivery schedules and maintain accurate documentation of shipments
- Communicate effectively with dispatch teams and clients regarding route status
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- Assist with loading/unloading operations when required
- Report vehicle maintenance needs and maintain cleanliness
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean driving record with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Knowledge of Milwaukee metro area and surrounding regions
- Strong communication and time-management skills
- Flexibility to work early mornings, nights, and weekends
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging
