Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles to deliver goods on scheduled routes across Missouri and surrounding states
- Conduct thorough pre-trip/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate DOT compliance logs
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment while ensuring cargo security and integrity
- Adhere to strict delivery schedules and communicate proactively with dispatch
- Implement defensive driving techniques and maintain flawless safety records
- Utilize GPS systems for route optimization and real-time communication
- Represent the company with professional conduct at all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with minimum 2 years verifiable experience
- Clean MVR with no major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to pass DOT physical, drug screening, and background check
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and basic GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Missouri highway systems and regional geography
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and operate loading equipment
- Commitment to safety protocols and defensive driving practices
- High school diploma or equivalent required
