Responsibilities
- Safely operate tractor-trailers on designated regional routes with strict adherence to DOT regulations
- Load/unload freight using proper techniques and equipment while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Complete pre/post-trip inspections and document maintenance requirements
- Navigate complex delivery schedules using GPS and route optimization software
- Build strong customer relationships through professional communication and on-time deliveries
- Maintain electronic logs (ELD) and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations
- Participate in continuous safety training and certification programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Proficient in using ELD systems and mobile communication tools
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Strong time management and problem-solving abilities
- Willingness to work flexible schedules including nights/weekends
- Previous experience with multi-drop routes preferred
