Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Bakersfield and surrounding areas
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and company safety protocols at all times
- Efficiently manage delivery schedules while maintaining exceptional customer service
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance checks
- Document trip logs, delivery confirmations, and incident reports accurately
- Maintain clean driving record and comply with Hours of Service (HOS) requirements
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Pass DOT physical and drug screening requirements
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading/unloading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California highways and route planning
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
- Must be at least 23 years old with no major preventable accidents
