Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver goods on designated routes throughout Philadelphia and surrounding areas
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections, ensuring compliance with FMCSA regulations
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and documentation using electronic logging devices
- Load and unload cargo using appropriate equipment while adhering to safety protocols
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and customers regarding delivery status and route adjustments
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Adhere to strict safety standards and defensive driving practices at all times
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Proficiency in using electronic logging devices and GPS navigation
- Strong knowledge of Philadelphia metropolitan area roadways
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and operate loading equipment
