Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A tractor-trailers to deliver goods on dedicated routes within Buffalo and surrounding areas
- Perform pre-trip inspections, documentation, and post-trip vehicle maintenance checks
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, manifests, and compliance paperwork
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and company policies
- Provide exceptional customer service during loading/unloading operations
- Collaborate with dispatch team to optimize route efficiency and on-time performance
- Assist in training new drivers on established routes and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety standards
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and route navigation skills
- Strong communication and customer service abilities
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Must reside within 50 miles of Buffalo, NY
