Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional deliveries within Houston metropolitan area
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations, safety protocols, and delivery schedules
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance records
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Optimize routes for efficiency while meeting time-sensitive delivery requirements
- Document delivery status and handle customer inquiries professionally
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Strong knowledge of Houston area roadways and traffic patterns
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) and route planning software
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Excellent time management and problem-solving skills
