Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for local/regional routes within San Jose Bay Area
- Adhere to DOT regulations, HOS compliance, and meticulous delivery documentation
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and routine vehicle maintenance checks
- Optimize delivery routes while maintaining punctual service to diverse client locations
- Load/unload freight with proper handling techniques and equipment operation
- Communicate proactively with dispatch, clients, and warehouse teams
- Maintain clean driving record and represent company values in all interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with HazMat endorsement (or willingness to obtain)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Clean MVR with no DUIs or major violations in past 3 years
- Ability to lift 50+ lbs and operate manual transmission
- Familiarity with CA traffic laws and Bay Area geography
- Strong time management and problem-solving skills
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Basic logistics software proficiency (e.g., Omnitracs, Qualcomm)
