Responsibilities
- Safely operate dump trucks for material transport (gravel, dirt, asphalt)
- Pre-trip/post-trip inspections and vehicle maintenance documentation
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety protocols
- Coordinate with site supervisors for efficient loading/unloading
- Maintain clean equipment and secure cargo during transit
- Complete daily delivery logs and incident reports
- Participate in seasonal safety training programs
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years dump truck operation experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with construction site safety procedures
- Basic equipment troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication and time management abilities
- Ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various weather conditions
- Commercial driving experience in North Carolina preferred
