Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated regional routes
- Adhere to DOT regulations and maintain meticulous vehicle inspection logs
- Deliver time-sensitive freight to commercial clients across metropolitan NY
- Utilize GPS navigation systems for efficient route planning and traffic avoidance
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and report maintenance needs
- Collaborate with dispatch team for real-time load adjustments
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (3+ years experience)
- Current DOT medical certification and Hazmat endorsement preferred
- Proven ability to navigate complex urban and highway environments
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) compliance
- Strong time management and customer service skills
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying weather conditions
