Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional route deliveries
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, mileage records, and vehicle inspection reports
- Load/unload freight using proper equipment and safety protocols
- Adhere strictly to DOT regulations and company safety standards
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery interactions
- Coordinate with dispatch team for route adjustments and status updates
- Perform preventive vehicle maintenance checks and report issues
- Manage time efficiently to meet delivery schedules and deadlines
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Strong knowledge of California roadways and traffic regulations
- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities
- Pass pre-employment drug screening and background check
- Valid medical certificate (DOT physical)
- Experience with electronic logging devices (ELD) preferred
