Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on designated routes across Nebraska and surrounding regions
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and ensure DOT compliance documentation
- Load/unload freight with precision while maintaining inventory accuracy
- Utilize GPS technology for efficient route navigation and delivery timing
- Communicate with dispatch team regarding delays, incidents, or route changes
- Maintain clean driving record and adhere to all safety protocols
- Assist in training new drivers on company standards and procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience
- Ability to lift up to 70 lbs and operate loading equipment safely
- Familiarity with DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong time-management skills with ability to meet tight delivery schedules
- Basic mechanical knowledge for minor equipment troubleshooting
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Pass background check and drug screening requirements
