Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A vehicles to deliver cargo to designated locations in and around Stockton, CA.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety compliance and report any mechanical issues immediately.
- Load and unload freight accurately and securely, ensuring cargo integrity during transport.
- Maintain accurate logs and paperwork (Electronic Logging Devices - ELD) in compliance with FMCSA regulations.
- Provide excellent customer service by adhering to delivery schedules and handling customer inquiries professionally.
- Uphold strict safety protocols to ensure a hazard-free work environment for yourself and others.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (Class A preferred).
- Current Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT Physical).
- Clean driving record with no recent DUIs or serious traffic violations.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screening.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws and road safety regulations.
