Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes within Arizona and neighboring states
- Maintain meticulous delivery logs and compliance with DOT/FMCSA regulations
- Perform pre/post-trip inspections and basic vehicle maintenance
- Coordinate with dispatch for efficient route planning and on-time deliveries
- Represent Desert Star Logistics with professional customer interactions
- Adhere to strict safety protocols and load security procedures
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record (no major violations in past 3 years)
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate in various weather conditions
- Knowledge of DOT regulations and HOS compliance
- Strong navigation skills with familiarity with Southwest routes
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Valid TWIC card preferred
