Responsibilities
- Operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional routes in Irvine and surrounding areas
- Ensure timely delivery of freight while maintaining strict safety protocols
- Conduct pre/post-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status
- Adhere to DOT regulations and company safety policies at all times
- Manage loading/unloading operations with proper equipment handling
- Document delivery exceptions and maintain electronic records
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL license with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to pass background check and pre-employment drug screening
- Flexibility for early morning start times and occasional overtime
- Excellent communication skills and customer service orientation
- Proficiency in electronic logging devices (ELD) and route navigation
- Physical ability to climb, lift, and secure loads up to 50 lbs
