Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles to deliver freight on designated regional routes
- Conduct pre-trip inspections and maintain accurate vehicle maintenance logs
- Ensure timely deliveries while adhering to DOT regulations and safety protocols
- Load/unload cargo using proper equipment and securement techniques
- Communicate effectively with dispatch team and clients regarding delivery status
- Maintain clean driving record and complete required training modules
- Assist in route optimization to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Familiarity with electronic logging devices (ELD) and transportation software
- Strong knowledge of Arizona/California/Nevada highway systems
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in various weather conditions
- Excellent time management and customer service skills
- Willingness to work flexible schedule including occasional overnight trips
