Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles for regional and long-haul routes
- Maintain meticulous pre/post-trip inspections and documentation compliance
- Adhere to strict DOT regulations and safety protocols at all times
- Deliver freight on time while optimizing fuel efficiency and route performance
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding shipment status
- Perform minor equipment maintenance and report service needs promptly
- Represent the company professionally in all customer interactions
Qualifications
- Valid Class A CDL with clean driving record
- Minimum 2 years verifiable tractor-trailer experience
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety procedures
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate loading equipment
- Proficiency with electronic logging devices (ELD) and fleet management systems
- Excellent time management and route optimization skills
- Ability to work flexible schedules including overnight and weekend shifts
- Pass background check and drug screening
