Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles safely and efficiently on local and regional routes.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance and safety.
- Load and unload cargo using proper equipment and techniques.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and adhere to all FMCSA regulations.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and updates.
- Ensure the cargo is secure and the vehicle is in peak mechanical condition at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid CDL Class A or Class B license required (Class A preferred).
- Must possess a valid Medical Examiner’s Certificate (DOT physical).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no DUIs or major violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and perform physical tasks during loading/unloading.
- Strong time management skills and a commitment to safety protocols.
