Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial vehicles in strict compliance with federal and state regulations.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently, ensuring proper weight distribution and security.
- Perform daily pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and maintenance checks.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date electronic logging device (ELD) records.
- Navigate routes efficiently to meet delivery deadlines while adhering to traffic laws.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations within the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols and hazardous material handling (if applicable).
