Responsibilities
- Operate commercial vehicles (Class A or B) in a safe and compliant manner, strictly adhering to traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical integrity and DOT compliance.
- Load and unload freight securely, utilizing proper tie-down techniques to prevent damage during transit.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and ensure all documentation is up to date.
- Provide exceptional customer service when interacting with shippers, receivers, and dispatch.
- Keep the cab and cargo area clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or Class B) with a clean driving record.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT physical) and a drug-free status.
- Ability to pass a criminal background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Strong communication skills and a professional attitude.
- Ability to lift and handle cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
