Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks to deliver cargo to various destinations within the San Francisco Bay Area.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours (DOT/HOS) and delivery records.
- Load and unload freight safely using appropriate equipment (forklift, pallet jacks).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety protocols at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status.
- Keep the truck and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must possess a clean driving record (MVR) with no major violations in the last 3 years.
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screen.
- Familiarity with Electronic Logging Devices (ELD) and navigation systems.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to work independently.
- Must be willing to work flexible hours, including weekends or holidays as needed.
