What You'll Do
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo efficiently and safely.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations and company safety policies.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records.
Requirements
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Clean driving record (MVR).
- Minimum of 2 years of verifiable truck driving experience.
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical and drug screen.
- Strong communication and time management skills.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles on highways and local roads.
- Conduct detailed pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety protocols.
- Document mileage and delivery details using ELD and electronic paperwork systems.
- Maintain the cleanliness and maintenance of the assigned vehicle.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with no air brakes restrictions unless specified otherwise.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (MEC).
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
- Minimum 2 years of verifiable Class A driving experience.
- Ability to pass a DOT physical examination and drug screening.
- Flexibility to work varying schedules, including weekends and holidays if required.
