Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial trucks (Class A) to transport goods according to delivery schedules.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance.
- Maintain accurate electronic logging device (ELD) records and delivery paperwork.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing freight.
- Adhere to all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company safety policies.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delays or issues.
- Uphold a professional image while representing the Elite Transport Solutions brand.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL).
- Minimum of 1-2 years of verifiable driving experience (OTR or Local).
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Medical Card).
- Satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) with no major violations.
- Ability to pass a DOT drug screen and background check.
- Strong knowledge of traffic laws, road safety, and navigation systems.
- Willingness to work varying shifts and travel overnight.
