Responsibilities
- Safely operate commercial Class A or Class B trucks and delivery vehicles in and around Sacramento.
- Load and unload cargo using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate digital logs and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure safety standards are met.
- Provide exceptional customer service during delivery and pickup processes.
- Keep the vehicle clean and organized at all times.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL Class A or B) required.
- Current Medical Examiner's Certificate (DOT Physical) is mandatory.
- At least 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience.
- Clean driving record with no more than 2 moving violations in the last 3 years.
- Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.
- Willingness to work weekends and flexible holidays as needed.
- Strong communication skills and time management abilities.
