Job Summary
We are looking for experienced drivers to handle local and regional freight. If you have a clean driving record and a passion for the road, we want to hear from you.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations in Jacksonville, FL.
- Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo securely using proper lifting techniques and equipment.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs and delivery receipts (DVIR).
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company safety policies at all times.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the truck cabin and cargo area clean and organized.
Qualifications
- CDL Class A License required (valid and in good standing).
- Minimum of 2 years of driving experience (preferred).
- Current DOT Medical Card and DOT Drug Screen on file.
- Pass a thorough background check and motor vehicle record review.
- Ability to operate various types of commercial vehicles (dry van, reefer, etc.).
- Strong communication skills and a customer-service oriented attitude.
- Ability to lift and move cargo weighing up to 50 lbs occasionally.
