As a Weekend Shift Driver, you will play a crucial role in keeping our supply chain moving during peak weekend hours. We offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health insurance, paid time off, and referral bonuses.
Responsibilities
- Operate commercial trucks and trailers safely and efficiently to deliver freight to designated locations.
- Conduct thorough pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance with DOT regulations.
- Load and unload cargo, ensuring proper weight distribution and securing loads according to safety standards.
- Maintain accurate logs (eLog/Daily Log) and ensure compliance with Hours of Service (HOS) regulations.
- Adhere to all traffic laws and company driving policies to ensure a clean driving record.
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery status and any delays.
- Keep the truck and trailer clean and organized at all times.
Qualifications
- Valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) with a clean MVR (Motor Vehicle Record).
- Current DOT Medical Card.
- Minimum of 1 year of verifiable commercial driving experience preferred.
- Ability to work flexible weekend shifts, including early mornings and late nights.
- Strong knowledge of DOT regulations and safety protocols.
- Basic computer literacy for electronic logging devices (ELD) and load boards.
- Willingness to pass a background check and drug screen.
