Responsibilities
- Safely operate Class A commercial vehicles in adherence to all traffic laws and company safety policies.
- Perform thorough pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure DOT compliance.
- Load and unload freight accurately and efficiently, ensuring cargo security.
- Maintain accurate logs and records, including electronic logging devices (ELD).
- Communicate effectively with dispatch and customers regarding delivery schedules and any potential delays.
- Adhere to all safety protocols and participate in ongoing safety training.
Qualifications
- Valid Commercial Driver's License (CDL) Class A required.
- Must have a clean driving record and a satisfactory motor vehicle report (MVR).
- Ability to pass a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical examination.
- Previous experience in long-haul or regional truck driving preferred.
- Strong time management skills and the ability to work independently.
- Willingness to undergo a background check and drug screening.
